We are working with a well-established UK manufacturer that is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner on a 12 month fixed term basis. Supply Chain Planner

Job Description

Develop and maintain material supply plans using forecasts, production schedules, and MRP systems to ensure materials are available when required.
Raise and manage purchase orders, monitor supplier deliveries, and resolve potential supply issues to minimise disruption.
Monitor inventory levels, identifying opportunities to reduce excess stock while maintaining service levels.
Work closely with production, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to support manufacturing schedules and business objectives.
Track supply chain performance, maintain accurate planning records, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Previous experience in a Supply Chain Planner, Materials Planner, or similar planning role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, and MRP/ERP systems.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
