Live-out Housekeeper

Location: Gloucestershire

£35,000 per annum

* Monday to Friday

* 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

* Generous Christmas bonus

* Increased flexibility required when principals are in residence (approx. 4 months per year)

* May be required to work 1:00 pm – 8:30 pm and/or a very occasional weekend

We are proudly working in partnership with a UHNW private client based in a historic Manor House in the Cotswolds. Our client is seeking an experienced, professional Housekeeper to join their small, dedicated household team on a full-time, live-out basis.

This is a rare opportunity to work within a beautifully maintained heritage property where attention to detail, discretion, and pride in presentation are essential.

The positive and friendly household team consists of a Head Butler, Under Butler, three Housekeepers, and kitchen staff. Together, they deliver exceptional service standards while preserving and caring for a historically significant property and its contents.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintaining rooms and communal areas to exceptional standards

* Conservation-grade dusting and careful handling of valuable and delicate items

* Comprehensive laundry care, including fine fabrics

* Room refreshes and turndown services

* Assisting with informal dining and drinks service as required

* Cleaning and upkeep of outbuildings, pool house, storage buildings, garages, and stores

* Stock ordering, monitoring, and rotation

Candidate Requirements

* Proven housekeeping experience within a private household or high-end hospitality environment

* Strong understanding of conservation-level cleaning and care

* Discreet, professional, and detail-oriented approach

* Ability to work as part of a close-knit household team

* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to rural location)

* Ability to provide a DBS check prior to commencement
