Role

Summary

Maintenance Engineer – part of a small team of maintenance engineers tasked with maintaining site plant, equipment and buildings to maximise productivity, while adhering to Corin’s health and safety procedures.

Working Pattern

Double days: one week Earliest and one week Lates, or permanent nights.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure equipment is maintained to suppliers’ specification
  • Ensure the buildings are maintained and structurally sound
  • Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance
  • Carry out PAT testing of equipment
  • Liaise with supervision and production control to ensure equipment is available for use
  • Work to Corin’s Health & Safety Procedures
  • Ensure good housekeeping and maintain accurate record keeping
  • Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with Corin’s ISO QMS & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) FDA
    21 CFR Part 820
  • Ensure that process and timeline requirements for Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) are met in accordance with Corin’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and in support of Corin’s Global Objectives for CAPA
Qualifications
  • Strong problem‑solving skills to diagnose and rectify problems across the site, plant and buildings
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to understand, interpret and implement manufacturers’ instructions
