About the Role
We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team at the Museum of Gloucester. This role will work 15 hours per week, predominantly Wednesday to Saturday, 09:00–12:00. There may also be occasional requirements to work on Mondays and Tuesdays, as needed. This is a fixed term contract lasting 12–18 months. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the museum, ensuring the venue is consistently welcoming, safe and presentable for visitors and staff.
What We Need From You
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness across museum galleries, exhibitions, public areas and staff facilities, including toilets and offices.
- Waste management, monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies in liaison with the Operations Team Leader and promptly reporting any maintenance issues or hazards.
- Work in line with health and safety policies and COSHH regulations at all times.
- Work independently, with a strong attention to detail and a clear commitment to maintaining high standards.

Additional Information
- The council is not currently able to offer sponsorship in this role. Candidates must have the right to work for at least six months.
