Project Manager – New Build Housing

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take responsibility for a new build housing development in Gloucestershire. This role is suited to a proven professional with a strong track record delivering high-volume residential housing schemes from start through to completion.

You will play a key role in driving programme, quality, and commercial performance, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and senior management to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Overall management of a high-volume new build housing site

* Leading Site Managers and supervising site teams

* Managing programme, resources, and build sequences

* Ensuring homes are delivered safely, on time, and to specification

* Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring performance

* Maintaining high standards of quality and customer care

* Managing budgets, variations, and cost control in collaboration with the commercial team

* Attending client, design, and progress meetings

* Ensuring compliance with NHBC standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Project Manager on high-volume new build housing developments

* Strong understanding of housing build processes and construction sequencing

* Experience managing multiple plots and phases

* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills

* SMSTS

* Valid CSCS card

* Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

* Experience working with national or regional house builders

* Knowledge of NHBC, LABC, or similar warranty providers

* Local knowledge of Gloucestershire or the surrounding area
