We're Hiring – Quarry Manager – Gloucester. Are you an experienced Quarry professional looking for your next leadership opportunity? BCS Connect is working with a client in the Gloucester area who are seeking a driven and hands‑on Quarry Manager to oversee operations at their Quarry site in Gloucester.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all day‑to‑day quarry operations
- Drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Manage, motivate, and develop site teams
- Oversee plant performance and maintenance schedules
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and environmental regulations
- Coordinate logistics, contractors, and operational activities
- Monitor site KPIs, budgets, and production targets
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Previous quarry experience is essential
- Proven experience in a Quarry Manager or senior supervisory role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent knowledge of quarry operations and heavy plant
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety compliance
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment - Relevant industry qualifications are advantageous
