We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established housing organisation for a Temporary Scheme Manager to support a residential scheme in Dursley, Gloucestershire.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service and administrative skills who enjoys working directly with residents and helping to ensure a housing scheme runs smoothly.
The Role:As Scheme Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the scheme, supporting residents and ensuring key compliance and housing processes are completed effectively.
Your responsibilities as a Scheme Manager will include:- Carrying out regular compliance and safety checks.
- Responding to resident enquiries and providing excellent customer service.
- Reporting and following up repairs.
- Supporting sales activity and arranging sales-related appointments.
- Liaising with solicitors and other external parties where required.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating relevant databases.
- Supporting the wider team with general housing administration.
- Ensuring the scheme remains well managed and compliant.
Full training will be provided on the organisation's systems, processes and compliance requirements.
About You:- Experienced in a customer-facing or housing-related role.
- Confident communicating with residents both face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Computer literate and comfortable using databases and IT systems.
- Ideally experienced using Microsoft Excel.
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
- Confident dealing with queries and resolving issues professionally.
- Previous housing or supported housing experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- You will need to complete a Basic DBS check.
A driving licence is not required, as the role is based at one site.
What's on Offer?- Temporary contract for a minimum of 3 months.
- Up to 18 hours per week - ideally 3 days per week
