As a Plant Department Manager, you will manage, lead, inspire and develop an amazing team and ensuring all customers have a great in store experience.

Skills required:

  • You’ll bring horticultureexpertisewith proven experienceofretail management.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of budgets, profitability from drivingretailsalesand improved ways of working.
  • Ability to identify training needs. Be effective coaching and training all levels ensuring our teams are delivering a first-class customer experience.
  • Adaptability act quickly and enthusiastically to changing priorities, workload, and concepts.
  • Positivity managing change, you will leadthe team through each season with care and motivation to deliver the best.

Duties will include:

  • Overseeing thehorticulturedepartmentoperation, maximising profitable sales and growth while creating a unique customer focussed environment.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance in relation to plant care and maintenance, core gardening products & equipment.
  • Taking the lead in creating a great place to work for everyone on a day to day basis whilst thinking ahead to ensure your teamhave a development journey withus.
  • Sparking your team’s passion for delivering the best customer experience possible bycreating a brilliant customer journey.
  • Working closely with ourcentralsupport teams, maintaining top notch communication, stock supplyandresponse.
  • Ensuringdepartmentcompliance and health and safety regulations are carried out.
