Engineering Shift Team Leader

Position: Engineering Shift Team Leader (Permanent)
My client, working within the FMCG sector is looking to recruit an Engineering shift Team Leader on a permanent basis.

You will be required to work a two week rota,
Week 1:
Monday to Friday, 6am – 1.45pm and Saturday, 6am – finish
Week 2:
Monday to Friday, 1.35pm – 9.45pm

The main responsibilities of the role includes

- Support the Engineering Manager
- Supervise, train and mentor Engineers
- Implement PPM schedules
- Repair and test electrical and mechanical plant equipment
- Lead effective fault finding and resolution for high-speed automated machinery
- Assist with departmental paperwork

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

- An electrical-based apprenticeship qualification is essential

- Experience of high-speed machinery in FMCG or a similar production environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience working with automated machinery
- Previous supervisory or people management experience

The starting pay-rate is between £20.51 and £21.51 an hour with overtime being paid after 40 hours at 1.25
