Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist, located in Gloucester. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, performing precision machining tasks, monitoring milling processes, and ensuring the quality of manufactured components. Day-to-day responsibilities include setup of CNC machinery, inspecting finished parts for accuracy, and adhering to safety and quality standards in all machining operations.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Machine Operation and Machining techniques
  • Experience in Milling and working with CNC machinery
  • Knowledge of Quality Control practices and standards in manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Attention to detail and ability to achieve tight tolerances
  • Relevant certification or vocational training in machining or manufacturing is advantageous
  • Prior experience in plastics machining or industrial manufacturing is a plus
