Quality Inspector​/CMM Programmer

Mazco Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well‑established precision engineering company based in Gloucester. Due to continued growth, our client is looking to add an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to their quality team.

• Carry out first‑off, in‑process, and final inspections of machined components.
• Program and operate Aberlink CMM equipment.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform dimensional inspections using a range of inspection equipment.
• Complete inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Identify non‑conformances and support corrective actions.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards.

• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within a precision engineering or CNC machining environment.
• Proven experience programming and operating Aberlink CMM machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
• Competent using:
  • Vernier calipers
  • Micrometers
  • Bore gauges
  • Height gauges
  • General precision measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Up to £18.00 per hour depending on experience.
