: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday between 7:00 am and 05:00 pm

We are now seeking a Mechanical Assembler to work for an Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Gloucester. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for building pneumatic/ hydraulic cylinders to technical drawings.

• Build hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic cylinders, and associated systems to defined specifications and procedures
• Conduct detailed visual inspections and quality checks throughout the assembly process
• Accurately record and report test data, non-conformances, and results
• Diagnose faults and work closely with assembly, manufacturing, and engineering teams to resolve issues
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and testing efficiency
• Maintain compliance with ISO quality standards and company health & safety procedures

• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or production assembly environment (hydraulics/pneumatics preferred)
• Understanding of mechanical systems assembly
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
