Invasive Cardiac Physiologist – Band 7

Location:

Gloucester, Gloucestershire.

Start date:

ASAP. Duration: 3 months. Rate: £40 - £50 per month.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday.

• Perform and support invasive cardiac procedures including angiography, angioplasty, and device implantation.
• Conduct physiological monitoring, data interpretation, and ensure safe operation of specialised equipment.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient‑centred care in a fast‑paced clinical setting.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to clinical governance and safety protocols.

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent, RCCP or AHCS registration.
• Extensive experience in invasive cardiology procedures.
• Proficiency in cardiac catheterisation lab techniques.
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in acute clinical environments.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.
