National Star is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Foundation House, Gloucester, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding, person-centred healthcare and supporting residents to live as independently as possible.

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating high-quality nursing care for residents with complex health needs. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with residential colleagues, GPs, therapists and families to ensure exceptional healthcare outcomes.
The role includes:
- Delivering person-centred nursing care tailored to individual needs
- Supporting residents with complex health requirements, including respiratory care
- Administering and managing medication safely and effectively
- Responding to changing clinical needs and medical emergencies
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and care documentation
- Supporting and developing colleagues through clinical guidance and medication competency assessments
- Promoting health, wellbeing, independence and choice
- Working collaboratively with a range of healthcare professionals and external agencies
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (RGN, RNLD or equivalent)
- Has excellent assessment, care planning and clinical decision-making skills
- Is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Communicates effectively with residents, families and colleagues
- Thrives within a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Is committed to ongoing professional development
- Has strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting people with physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties
- Experience with in a residential or community setting
- Respiratory care experience, including tracheostomy or laryngectomy management
- Experience supporting and mentoring colleagues
