Help Us Drive Safety Across Our Logistics and Waste Operations

Are you passionate about health and safety and looking for a role where you can make a real impact?

We're looking for a proactive and motivated Health & Safety Advisor to support our Logistics and Waste Management divisions. Working closely with managers, drivers, operational teams and site personnel, you'll help maintain high safety standards, drive compliance and promote a positive health and safety culture across our business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with health and safety experience who enjoys being out in the operation, building relationships and supporting teams to work safely and effectively.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Conducting site inspections, audits and workplace safety assessments.
  • Providing practical health and safety advice and support to operational teams.
  • Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses and helping implement corrective actions.
  • Supporting the development of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Delivering toolbox talks, safety briefings and awareness campaigns.
  • Monitoring compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Producing health and safety reports and performance data.
  • Promoting a positive and proactive safety culture across all sites and depots.
What We're Looking For Essential
  • Experience with in logistics, transport, waste management or recycling operations.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Good understanding of current UK health and safety legislation.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
  • IOSH Membership (or working towards).
  • Experience delivering training and toolbox talks.
  • Knowledge of ISO management systems.
