Hours:

20 hours across 4 days per week.

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Quedgeley, Gloucestershire. We offer a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours worked over 4 days per week, including weekends.

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack, and leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

• Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy with a variety of tasks such as deliveries, till work, customer service, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable – dependable for the team and customers on each shift.
• Flexible with shifts; willing to work slightly different hours when teammates are on holiday. Rota planned three weeks in advance and commitments outside work are considered.
