Customer Delivery Driver Brck Extra

Availability Window:
The role requires availability throughout the week from 17:00 to 21:00 on most days.

Hourly rate starts from £14.18 and increases to £15.45 for stores inside the M25. The role offers a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with the option to work fewer hours (minimum 12 hours) if required.

• Maintain the van and trays in a clean and organised state.
• Keep the back yard tidy, remove rubbish and pick up litter as needed.
• Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
• Check the van for roadworthiness and load deliveries as required.
• Communicate with customers about any changes to their order, including short code items and substitutions, and offer refunds for items they are unhappy with.
• Take care of products and deliveries as if they were your own.
• Explain to the customer that they will not be charged for substitutions.
• Deliver during the customer's time slot.
• Call the customer before arriving at their property if early.
• Call the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late.

• Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit and ensure the store delivers the best possible experience for customers.
• Warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues, taking the time to understand the customer and say "Thank you."
• Act quickly to respond to the changing needs of customers and embrace change within my store.

• Share ideas with my Manager and other colleagues on how we can improve our store for customers.

• A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
