Retail Assistant – Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

Hours:

16 hours across 4 days per week. Pay: £10.95 – £12.81 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Quedgeley, Gloucestershire. We offer a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 4 days per week, including weekends. This role requires availability for weekday evenings and all‑day Saturday and Sunday shifts.

• Help customers find the items they are looking for
• Give fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves ready for customers to buy
• Work with the rest of the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
• Be comfortable with a busy schedule, jumping from deliveries to till service, customer assistance, cleaning, and stock rotation
• Reliable and dependable, as the team and customers will rely on you to do your best on each shift
• A bit of flexibility with shifts, as rota’s are planned three weeks in advance and other members' holidays may require you to cover different hours
• Successful completion of an Employment Verification check if offered the position
