Customer Assistant

We're looking for friendly, hands‑on people to join our Market Street and Café team. In this role you will prepare and serve high‑quality food such as pizzas, fresh fish and meats, and provide excellent customer service in a fast‑paced, structured environment.

• Prepare and serve meals in the Café and on Market Street, ensuring food quality and presentation meet brand standards.
• Work in a fast‑paced, structured environment with clear routines and timed activities to keep service efficient.
• Support other store areas such as Replenishment and Customer Service to maintain overall store performance.
• Maintain safety and equipment usage procedures while handling food and shop equipment.
• Assist customers with queries and deliver a friendly experience.
• Work flexible shift patterns to cover a variety of opening hours.

• Helpful and friendly approach to customer service.
• Enjoy staying active and being hands‑on during a busy, structured shift.
• Work well in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfortable using equipment safely and following established processes.
• Loves to help support customers and resolve their queries.
• Age requirement – over the school‑leavers age; some roles require age 18+ for health and safety reasons.
