What you’ll be doing

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead and grow our direct sales operations across the global education market. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role. You'll take full responsibility for our direct sales strategy, ensuring the team delivers exceptional customer value and sustainable revenue growth.

You’ll be the driving force behind our commercial performance, whether that's coaching the Sales Team, shaping our CRM strategy or building long-term relationships with key education stakeholders. Your job is to make sure Avantis' sales operation is as ambitious, data-driven and effective as the products we sell.

What you'll be responsible for:
  • Sales Strategy & Commercial Leadership
    • Develop and execute a high-impact direct sales strategy for our global education market
    • Lead, coach and inspire the US Sales Team to meet ambitious goals
    • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools and reporting
    • Partner with marketing to optimise lead generation and conversion
  • Team & Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment across marketing, product and growth strategies
    • Manage teams operating across different time zones with clarity and purpose
    • Build lasting relationships with key education stakeholders, driving trust and long-term success
  • CRM & Data-Driven Decision Making
    • Oversee the entire sales funnel, ensuring data integrity and accurate forecasting
    • Manage and optimise CRM performance, including dashboards, analytics and reporting tools
    • Use insight to support evidence-based decisions at every stage of the sales process
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience leading an internal or inside sales function in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong background in B2C sales within the education (K-12) or EdTech sector
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM systems and dashboard management, with a strong understanding of sales analytics and performance tracking
  • Experience managing teams across different time zones
  • Experience in SaaS or technology-based learning solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • A genuine passion for improving learning outcomes through digital innovation
