Sales Assistant – Gloucester

Salary: £26,695 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

• Serve customers on the trade counter, understand their needs and provide product recommendations.
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously.
• Proactively contact customers to build relationships and drive branch sales.
• Assist with general warehouse duties including picking & packing orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries involving manual handling of heavy items such as boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets.
• Support delivery drops as required.
• Work full‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 07:30am–5:00pm and occasional Saturdays 08:00am–12:00pm.

• Full UK driving licence required (to cover deliveries while the driver is on leave).
• Previous face‑to‑face customer service or sales experience is essential.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and take on a diverse role.
• Proactive, eager to learn, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
