Car Sales Executive

We are recruiting for a Car Sales Executive on behalf of our client, a well-established multi-franchise automotive dealer group operating across Southwest England since 1996. This Car Sales Executive role is based at their Gloucester site and offers a genuine opportunity for skilled and motivated motor trade individuals to develop their career within a reputable business.

Competitive basic annual salary of £21,000 with uncapped on-target earnings exceeding £45,000 per annum, dependent on sales performance

Working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm;
Saturdays 8:30am-5:00pm;
Sundays 10:00am-4:00pm (with one in two Sundays off)
Duties of a Car Sales Executive:

Selling both new and used vehicles, including compact city cars, hybrid SUVs, and other models
Advising customers on add-ons, accessories, finance and insurance products, warranties, and service packages
Keeping customers informed about delivery schedules and managing any delays or queries proactively
Collecting payments and ensuring all documentation is complete for vehicle handover
Explaining warranty, insurance, and aftersales service arrangements
Introducing customers to the Service Department and demonstrating vehicle features
Building strong, lasting customer relationships to meet and exceed sales targets

Requirements of a Car Sales Executive:

Previous or present franchise-approved car sales experience is advantageous but not essential
Strong sales and customer service background is essential
A genuine passion for automotive sales and delivering excellent customer care
Enthusiasm, results-driven attitude, and commitment to professional excellence
Full UK driving licence with minimal points required
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently to achieve targets
