Parts Advisor

We are currently seeking a Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor to join a reputable franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. Competitive starting salary of £30,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
Performance-related bonus scheme (approximately £300 per month plus 1% over 120% target)

Duties of the Parts Advisor:

Deal directly with trade and retail customers regarding parts enquiries and sales
Ensure accurate identification, picking, and dispatching of parts orders
Provide high-quality customer service through face-to-face interactions, emails, and phone calls
Carry out parts stock control and manage inventory levels effectively
Supply parts to HGV Technicians in the workshop
Cover for the Parts Delivery Driver during their absence
Maintain relationships with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely parts availability
Utilise electronic parts catalogue systems, including Kerridge/Keyloop (advantageous)
Requirements of the Parts Advisor:

Recent experience as a Parts Advisor within a franchise-approved automotive dealership or motor factor
Knowledge or experience with commercial vehicle parts is desirable but not essential
IT literate, with experience working with electronic parts catalogue systems (Kerridge/Keyloop preferred)
Hold a UK driving licence with minimal points
Strong customer service and sales skills with a professional, friendly manner
Residency within a reasonable commute to Gloucester preferred
