MET Technician

Location: Quedgeley

Our Motor Trade Client is one of the largest comprehensive Automotive Accident Repair Centres, based in Quedgeley and they require an experienced MET Technician / Strip-Fit Technician to join their busy team of bodyshop productives.

Starting salary between £20-23 per hour.
Uncapped monthly bonus schemes plus guaranteed average bonus when you're on holiday (OTE around £55-60,000 per annum).
£5,000 joining bonus split over 12 months of service.
Overtime, subject to availability, paid at the standard rate.

40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility on your shift patterns.

Typical duties:

Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles in line with our Client’s high standards
Removing damaged parts, allowing repairs to commence.
Familiarity with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to be successful in the role.
To identify additional repair work and liaise with the bodyshop advisor
Communicating effectively with other team members
Carry out quality controls

Requirements:

Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
ATA qualification would be beneficial
Ability to work under pressure, and complete work to a strong standard.
Experience as a MET Technician within an accident repair centre

For your hard work as a MET Technician / Strip-Fit Technician for our client you will be paid up to £47,840 with OTE circa of £60,000.
