Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a leading manufacturer of Material Handling equipment looking to on-board a new Field Service Engineer to service their client base across Gloucestershire. With a competitive basic salary and a number of other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to get into a new company.
Responsibilities
Servicing a client base across the Gloucestershire area with a focus on servicing forklift trucks
Fixing and servicing other related material handling & specialist equipment to include side-loaders and industrial cleaning equipment
Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when visiting customer sites
Attending the workshop from time to time and occasionally working on call
Working closely with the regional service manager and the team leaders to ensure customer satisfaction Requirements
The company have a preference for an individual with experience within the Material Handling industry. However this isn’t essential, they would also be interested in speaking with candidates with a background in plant hire, powered access, commercial vehicles or Automotive. Another option the company would consider would be a recently qualified engineer looking to get into something long term and building a career.
In terms of location, you will ideally be based in Gloucestershire.

Part of a wider group, they’re also involved in supplying various other types of warehouse equipment and are one the most well-known brands within the material sector, being a true market leader. Having obtained consistent growth for the last 30 years, they’re expecting this to continue and are therefore looking to bring new on new service engineers to increase market share further
