Field Engineer – Customer Engineering – Gigaclear

A starting salary of £28,000‑£32,000, dependent on fibre experience and current qualifications/accreditations such as PIA Underground and Overhead H&S and Fibre Installations. The salary will be adjusted based on skills and experience.

• Delivery of the allocated work programmes, working with stakeholders to deliver on time, safely and to standard.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and carry out installations.
• Provide a first‑class customer service, managing any customer complaints and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure ownership of health & safety and quality standards for oneself and the team.

• Previous telecoms installation experience, ideally fibre‑optic networks (FTTH / FTTP).
• Knowledge of civil specifications (e.g., NRSWA) desirable.
• Experience delivering to pre‑defined project schedules.
• Ability to understand, interpret and adhere to risk & method assessments.

• Full driving licence (manual) held for 12 months.
• DBS check (or ability to pass).
• Ideally already hold a NRSWA Operative accreditation.
