Position: Support Worker - Supported Housing

Support Worker – Supported Housing (Part time)

About The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Bristol, working with families and adult males who have experienced homelessness. This is a low‑support service focused on helping individuals maintain their tenancies and live independently.

This role is part‑time, 14.8 hours per week, and is field based.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide housing‑related support tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and tenancy sustainment.
  • Build trusting, respectful relationships with customers and partner agencies.
  • Support customers to access training, employment, and community opportunities.
  • Carry out risk assessments and develop personal support plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to service targets.

Qualifications and

Experience:

  • Experience supporting vulnerable adults, ideally in housing or homelessness services.
  • Understands the challenges faced by people transitioning from homelessness.
  • Can work flexibly, including occasional out‑of‑hours support.
  • Is confident using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Holds safeguarding knowledge and ideally an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field.

This role is not eligible for a CoS. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the role without requiring a CoS.
