The RoleAs a Traffic Management Operative, you’ll play a key role in keeping roads, pedestrians and sites moving safely. Some days you’ll work independently, other days as part of a team — either way, you’ll be trusted to take responsibility and do the job right.
- Installing and maintaining temporary traffic management setups such as traffic lights, road closures and pedestrian routes.
- Manually controlling traffic signals and managing pedestrian movement when required, helping to keep both the public and your colleagues safe.
We expect our operatives to lead by example when it comes to safety, quality and professionalism — that’s how we’ve built our reputation.
What We’re Looking ForWe value mindset just as much as experience. If you’re professional, respectful and communicate well, you’re already off to a strong start.
- Previous traffic management experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to stay organised, solve problems under pressure and work confidently to tight deadlines.
A full UK driving licence is required. Traffic Management qualifications are desirable but not essential, including Unit 2, M1, M2, M5, M6 and 12AB.
