Yard Worker​/driver

ARC is looking for Delivery Driver to work in for one of our client in Gloucester Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Delivery Driver/Yard Worker to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the yard, preparing portable toilets for hire and ensuring that all operations run smoothly.

The role will also include delivering and collecting toilets.

This role requires a proactive individual who can communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.

A background in commercial driving/towing is advantageous.

Duties Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the yard area, ensuring all materials are stored properly.

Prepare portable and luxury toilets ready for hire to a high standard Deliver and collect portable toilets.

Towing of toilet trailers/welfare units to sites Assist in loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently.

Perform routine inspections of yard equipment and vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and effective communication throughout the day.

Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.

Experience Previous experience in a yard environment is preferred.

Familiarity with commercial driving practices is beneficial; a valid driving licence is required.

Mechanical knowledge to assist with basic maintenance tasks is an asset.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.

Experience as a delivery driver or van driver will be considered an advantage.
