HGV Class 2 Driver (Day Shift)

Pure Staff has a fantastic opportunity for a qualified HGV Class 2 Driver in Gloucester. The role involves driving a pump truck to deliver palletised goods within the region;

Pay Rate:

Days Monday to Friday: £16.50 per hour. Holiday pay is paid separately when you book annual leave.

Class 2 drivers can start between 07:00 and 08:00. This is a temporary, day‑shift position with an average shift of 10–12 hours and multiple drops (3–12 drops).

Job Specifications (Responsibilities):

• Multi‑drop (3–12 drops) of palletised goods
• Average shift of 10–12 hours
• Use of a pump truck
• Daily vehicle checks
• Professional manner when dealing with the end customer
• Complete an assessment prior to work starting
• Always wear correct PPE (safety boots and hi‑vis)

Ideal Candidate (Qualifications):

• HGV Class 2 Licence
• At least 6 months Class 2 experience (essential)
• Valid CPC
• Clean driving licence with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)
