Overview

HGV Class 1 day driver needed in Gloucester for a temp‑to‑perm opportunity. The role involves a 4‑on/4‑off shift pattern, with ad‑hoc or part‑time shifts available.

• Drive curtain side vehicle, completing 1–3 drops per day.
• Loads will be forklifted on and off, so no handballing required.
• Work within 4‑on/4‑off or other shift patterns as agreed.
• Role available immediately for the right candidate, upon passing assessment.

• Full, current UK CE driving licence (Class
  1).
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Positive, professional and customer‑focused attitude.
• Team player who keeps trucks clean & tidy.
• Maximum 9 points for minor endorsements.
• Over 21 years of age.

• Pay £16.21 per hour (+ £1.96 holiday supplement = £18.17).
• 24‑week temp‑to‑perm, 4‑on/4‑off shift pattern on days, nights or tramping.
• Weekly Friday pay or monthly pay on last Friday.
• Paid annual leave, company pension & sickness cover.
