Our client, a busy builders yard near the centre of Gloucester, requires an experienced Class 2 HIAB driver for their day shift. This is an ongoing assignment with the potential of a permanent role following a successful trial period.
Hours & PayMonday‑Friday 08:30‑16:30 – £15 per hour.
RoleDeliveries of bulk building materials to customers.
Responsibilities- Carry out vehicle checks and drive safely at all times.
- Use a digital tachograph card and maintain accurate logs.
- Report any safety issues on standard reports.
- Operate a Class 2 HIAB vehicle efficiently and safely.
- Valid Class 2 HIAB licence.
- Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Experience with HIAB machinery essential.
- Knowledge of the local area advantageous.
- Weekly pay.
- 28 days paid annual leave pro‑rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday).
- Pension contribution.
- Online payslips.
- Choice of long‑term, short‑term and odd days or weekends available.
- Flexible shift patterns.
- Ongoing assignments throughout 2026.
