Warehouse Operative – Various shifts
We are recruiting Warehouse Operatives for our Avonmouth depot (Cabot Park, Poplar Way West, Bristol, BS11 0YW
). This is a full‑time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week) with flexible daytime, back and night shifts and weekend work. Hourly pay is £12.89‑£18.06 (base rate plus shift allowances).
Please check you can reliably commute to the warehouse before applying.
Shift patterns:
- Day shift – 06:00 to 14:00, rota basis, 2 in 3 weekends
- Back shift – 14:00 to 22:00, rota basis, 2 in 3 weekends
- Night shift – 22:00 to 06:00, rota basis, 2 in 3 weekends
- Fixed shifts – 4‑5 days with one weekend shift, discussed at interview
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack stock for shop orders across the warehouse (frozen, chilled and ambient) using appropriate manual handling equipment.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles with cages and pallets.
- Distribute products to the correct location within the warehouse.
- Work as part of a team to achieve key daily targets.
Required skills and experience:
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to work towards targets under a fast‑paced environment.
- Good organisational skills.
- No prior warehouse experience needed – all training will be provided.
