Warehouse Assistants

£12.71 an hour paid Fridays plus holiday and pension.

Hours of work 8am to 4pm

THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROLE OFFERING FLEXIBLE DAYS

We are seeking dedicated and efficient Warehouse Assistants to join our warehouse teams. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the safe and effective unloading of goods from delivery vehicles and ensuring that all materials are handled with care. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of operations within the warehouse, requiring a strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

• Unload materials and products from lorries, ensuring safe handling and storage.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks, moving items to designated areas within the warehouse.
• Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring that all unloading areas are clear and accessible.
• Assist in the management of inventory through accurate logging in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

• Proven experience in materials handling within a warehouse environment preferred but not essential a keen enthusiastic attitude is more important !
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.
• A proactive approach to safety, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
