Vehicle Technician – Independent Leader No Weekends

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 – No Weekends.

As a core member of our technical team, you will handle a true variety of workshop responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Repair: Carry out routine vehicle maintenance, safety inspections, and high‑level mechanical repairs.
• Diagnostics & Fault Finding: Use modern diagnostic equipment to test, identify, and resolve complex electrical and mechanical faults systematically.
• Component Replacement: Inspect automotive components for wear and tear, and efficiently repair or replace parts to strict trade specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Check vehicle subsystems and road‑test vehicles after work is completed to guarantee "right first time" safety and quality standards.
• Collaboration: Maintain excellent housekeeping, liaise with customers where necessary, and support other technicians in the workshop to maintain top efficiency.

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 / Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent time‑served workshop experience.
• Experience: Proven track record as a confident Vehicle Technician or Mechanic. Experience with premium German brands is an advantage but not essential. An active MOT testing licence is beneficial but not required.
• Licensing: A full UK driving licence is essential (with no more than 6 points).
• Traits: Superb technical knowledge, a professional attitude, and the ability to work comfortably to efficiency and quality targets.
