Assistant Accountant

Supporting Accounts Receivable, including high-volume AR activity Assisting with Accounts Payable and providing holiday cover Processing and understanding monthly payroll Preparing P11

Ds and supporting pension administration Calculating commission payments Processing journals and general bookkeeping Supporting all transactional finance activities Assisting with company credit card reconciliations Acting as a second pair of eyes across finance processes Supporting escalations and providing operational assistance to the Finance Manager Assisting with additional payrolls following future business acquisitions if required

What you will need:

Previous experience in a similar finance role (such as Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, Assistant Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, Finance Officer or Transactional Finance Officer) Broad transactional finance knowledge, including AR, AP, and payroll Strong understanding of bookkeeping and finance processes

Experience with journals, pensions, and P11

Ds Commission calculation experience (desirable) Comfortable working independently and supporting transactional finance

Experience with Netsuite (advantageous) What you will get:
