Seeking to hire a Product Support Mechanical Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity in Golden Valley, MN. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of innovative products for our client, a leading global provider of intuitive, connected home solutions.

• Provide ongoing technical support to manufacturing teams and other internal departments for existing products
• Answer supplier questions about unclear print specifications. Submit print engineering change requests (ECR) when necessary
• Interface with various internal departments (manufacturing, quality, sourcing, product management) to address questions/problems
• Investigate and analyze questions that arise during a product's lifecycle, identifying the underlying causes of problems
• Prepare technical reports, test results, design specifications, and other documentation

• Mechanical engineering degree – MUST HAVE.
• Strong background in troubleshooting manufacturing and design problems.
• Knowledge of high volume materials and manufacturing processes including machining, stamping, plastic injection molding, and die casting.
• Ability to understand mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with electro-mechanical devices.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Experience with product testing and qualification.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word.

$50.00 – $70.00 Hourly
