Forge ahead with WSB. We are seeking a Director, Contract Administration to add to our growing team. You will be supervising and training staff in investigations, analyses, reporting, and construction observation. Business development for existing and new clients will be an integral part of the position. You will lead Contract Admin staff and collaborate with other groups within the Construction Division.

• Direct WSB’s MN/ND Contract Administration team to manage and deliver successful projects, verify compliance with plans and specifications, prepare pay estimates, and produce project documentation for private, municipal, county, MNDOT and federal projects.
• Possess knowledge of design standards and generate business and perform work to grow the business and opportunities for WSB.
• Lead projects and teams following State & Federal Contract Administration processes and procedures.
• Provide experienced project management, oversight, and administration on a variety of Federal, State, County and City construction projects and contracts, along with leading proposal development process, staff scheduling and management.
• Responsible for achieving revenue goals, profit margins and developing a team.
• Build a highly efficient, self-sustainable team of professionals with strong client focus.
• Ensure a high-quality project is delivered to our clients.
• Exude strong commitment to ensuring safe project execution.

• Honesty and integrity, sense of ownership, collaboration, persistence, organization, and planning.
• Strong understanding of the construction industry and project delivery.
• Setting clear expectations for the team and creating a culture of accountability.
• Project management – tracking scope, schedule, quality, and budget.
• Business Development – identifying, attracting, and securing a new, diverse client base.

• BS in Civil Engineering (MS preferred).
• 10+ years of experience providing contract administration within civil engineering services.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in Minnesota and/or North Dakota with an existing network of construction industry clients.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to work in various locations.
• 100% presence at our physical office location or job site.
