Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Compass Health Center supports patients and families in crisis every day as we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles so they can live freely.
About This Role
As the largest provider of PHP/IOP programs and psychiatric services in Illinois, Compass Health Center is a growing behavioral health organization. We are expanding our innovative programs that redefine the industry and raise the standard for comprehensive care. Launching in early 2026, our new Golden Valley, MN location will welcome top local behavioral health talent. This interdisciplinary team will build adolescent and adult PHP/IOP programs from the ground up alongside experienced clinicians and doctors.
Role Summary
The IT Analyst II provides user support to resolve issues with computer programs, hardware, and systems. Roles may focus on a specific IT area (e.g., Network Administration: Azure AD, Exchange, GPOS) or provide general technical support to end users. The analyst examines IT software and equipment issues and develops and deploys solutions to keep computers functioning; this includes building computers for new hires.
What You'll Do
- Day-to-day break fixes of all Compass equipment, including hardware and software.
- Hardware maintenance (printers, computers, monitors, phones, servers, etc.).
- Software maintenance (MS Office, Symantec antivirus, Outlook, etc.).
- Data room maintenance for both locations.
- Ensure software licenses are current;
Windows, Adobe, Outlook, VPN, etc. - Account creation for new hires (AD, Outlook suite, VPN, voicemail).
- Incident tracking using Fresh Service ticketing system.
- Equipment ordering for new hires or staff requests (with approval).
- Maintain inventory and retire/ dispose of equipment as needed.
- Research new hardware/software to improve functionality.
- Act as point of contact for vendors (wiring, printer maintenance, security systems).
- Provide minor technical or operational training.
- Complete IT support logs; collaborate across teams on projects.
- Provide training for junior staff/new hires within the technology group.
- On call for emergencies or outages, and for proactive upgrades – nights and weekends.
- Flexible to work long hours including weekends and able to travel on short notice for customer issues.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- If no degree, 3–5 years of IT support/technology support experience.
- Strong passion for technology and ability to work in an adaptive environment.
- High level of customer service and enjoyment in helping people resolve IT questions.
- Ability to create and implement procedures.
- Team collaboration within larger IT teams to resolve issues.
- Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Honesty, strong verbal communication, positive attitude, kindness, compassion.
- Knowledge of operating systems, office/software suites, and server systems.
- Knowledge of remote desktop support systems (e.g., Team Viewer, RDP, Log Me In ).
- Familiarity with networking systems and protocols.
- Ability to manage multiple user issues simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
