Akkodis is seeking a Lead Automation Tester for a 6‑month contract (possibility of extension) job with a client in Golden Valley, MN (Hybrid- 3 days onsite). Client is looking for 8–10 years of overall experience in software testing with at least 3–5 years in a Test Lead role, preferably in Healthcare or regulated domains.

Pay Range: $70-$75/hr. on w2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• 8–10 years of overall experience in software testing with at least 3–5 years in a Test Lead role, preferably in Healthcare or regulated domains.
• Strong domain knowledge of Healthcare systems and data. Preferred to have a person with good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements such as HIPAA, PHI handling, HL7, and FHIR.
• Ability to define and implement end‑to‑end test strategies, test plans, and test approaches covering manual, automation, database, and reporting testing.
• Demonstrated experience in establishing and enforcing testing processes, standards, best practices, and quality gates, ensuring zero gaps in test coverage, traceability, and compliance.
• Experience working in an onshore‑offshore delivery model, with strong capability to coordinate, guide, and review work from offshore teams while being customer‑facing onsite.
• Exposure to test automation for data and reporting layers, including database automation, data validation frameworks, and regression automation for BI reports.
• Strong defect management skills, including defect triage, root cause analysis, defect trend analysis, and implementation of preventive quality measures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear test status, quality metrics, risk assessments, and recommendations to customer leadership.
