Automation Tester

Base pay range

$70.00/hr - $75.00/hr

Akkodis is seeking an Automation Tester for a client located in Golden Valley, MN.

This individual will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Inspire the team to understand Healthcare business workflows, data pipelines, reporting requirements, and quality processes.

Pay Rate: $70 - $75/hr. on w2. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Schedule - Mon - Fri (8 am
-5 pm EST, Hybrid - 3 days a week in office)

• 8–10 years of overall experience in software testing with at least 3–5 years in a Test Lead role, preferably in Healthcare or regulated domains.
• Strong domain knowledge of Healthcare systems and data. Preferred to have a person with good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements such as HIPAA, PHI handling, HL7, and FHIR.
• Ability to define and implement end-to-end test strategies, test plans, and test approaches covering manual, automation, database, and reporting testing.
• Demonstrated experience in establishing and enforcing testing processes, standards, best practices, and quality gates, ensuring zero gaps in test coverage, traceability, and compliance.
• Experience working in an onshore–offshore delivery model, with strong capability to coordinate, guide, and review work from offshore teams while being customer-facing onsite.
• Exposure to test automation for data and reporting layers, including database automation, data validation frameworks, and regression automation for BI reports.
• Strong defect management skills, including defect triage, root cause analysis, defect trend analysis, and implementation of preventive quality measures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear test status, quality metrics, risk assessments, and recommendations to customer leadership.
