Job Description
Moments Hospice has an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer Coordinator to work in the field in the covering Miami-Dade and eventually Monroe County
.
- Responsible to make introductions of volunteers to patients
- Speaking engagements (1 per week)
- 35-40 touch points in the community per week
Community touch points include:
- Churches/Synagogues/Temples
- Senior Centers
- Rotary Clubs
- Civic Groups
- Groups such as Elks Club
- Colleges/Universities/Tech schools
- VFWs/American Legions
- Assisted and Independent Living facilities
- Other community organizations
Additional duties:
- Post flyers
- Attend job fairs
- Hold volunteer requirement events
- Pass out recruitment materials
- Must be available for evening and weekend activities (as required)
- Expectation to be out in the community and not in office
- 20 volunteer applications completed for assigned territory per month
- At least 10% of applications must convert into an active volunteer.
- Monday to Friday
