As a Business Development Representative at Meritech, you'll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to grow our customer base by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
With a 12‑second wash cycle that is clinically proven to remove more than 99% of harmful pathogens, Meritech's Clean Tech Automated Handwashing technologies are changing the hygiene game for thousands of companies in food production, packaging, entertainment, travel, and more.
Who You Are- Conducting customer outreach calls.
- Hunting new business.
- Analyzing industry and customer data to inform future decisions.
- Working closely with others as part of a team in an upbeat, collaborative environment.
- $25.00 per hour to start, plus commission; payroll every other Thursday.
- A comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, and 401(k) with company contributions.
- 3 weeks annually of paid time off and sick leave accrual, with increases based on tenure.
- Paid company holidays.
- Experienced in lead generation and customer outreach (industry experience preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and preferably experienced in CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot, or Linked In).
- A skilled multi‑tasker and time manager.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Committed to delivering high‑quality and accurate work.
- Flexible and adaptable interpersonal skills, capable of dealing with different types and preferences of customers, with a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and work ethic.
- Experienced at analyzing data to find helpful and relevant information to inform business decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient in English reading, writing, and basic mathematics—high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical requirements:
frequently use computer, keyboard, printer, phones; communicate via phone, email, chat; prolonged periods working at a desk; occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
