Direct message the job poster from Petro Bricks.
This is a unique opportunity to work with an all-star group of large independent E&Ps to implement solutions to some of the most significant problems in oil and gas using Petro Bricks' data automation platform.
This is a data engineering position. If you've never heard of AMQP or don't know the difference between MQTT and Event Hub, then you probably have great skills, but this just isn't the right fit for you. This is a job for a highly experienced data engineer who also has petroleum engineering experience.
The ideal person is a data engineer who has a petroleum engineering background, preferably in production, but made the switch to a data role a few years back. This person has hand‑on experience working with data integration technologies like JSON web APIs, Event Hub/Kafka, SQL Server and Postgres, as well as a variety of enterprise and cloud data storage platforms.
If you've worked at a consulting house writing data integrations for oil and gas customers, you're probably a great fit.
This is an in‑office job. Candidates must live in the Golden, CO area.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Data/Implementation Engineer is responsible for working with customer petroleum engineers and IT staff to understand and create the data flows needed to solve common industry problems such as gas lift optimization, ESP optimization, emissions monitoring, etc. They will then act as an SME, helping customers use the Petro Bricks data automation platform to solve these problems, tying together new‑tech sensor systems, SAAS apps, internal customer services, and cloud systems like AWS, Azure, and Snowflake.
