The responsibilities of the Health Information Management ("HIM") Technician include, but are not limited to: inpatient assembly, analysis, and admissions processing—including sorting, proofing, and error identification of all reports—in support of the Health Information Management function. The HIM Technician also provides telephone backup as needed.
QualificationsEducation and Training: High school diploma or equivalent with specialized training in an approved business, secretarial school, or college. Prefer specialized training in an approved Health Information Management Program.
Experience: Previous medical record experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Pay RangeUSD $19.00 - $24.00 per hour.
