Job Summary

This position serves as a servant leader and Agile champion within a dynamic technology services environment, supporting the delivery of critical data services for internal customers and distribution teams. The role focuses on facilitating team collaboration, coaching Agile practices, and driving continuous improvement across one or more cross‑functional teams of approximately 12‑14 members. Working in close partnership with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and portfolio leadership, this individual will be instrumental in maintaining delivery momentum, removing organizational impediments, and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.

This is a traditional facilitation‑focused role rather than a technical execution position, offering the opportunity to influence Agile maturity and contribute to enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives. The position operates within a collaborative, trust‑based environment that emphasizes lean principles and capability development.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives within two‑week sprint cycles.
  • Coach team members on Agile values, principles, frameworks, and self‑organization practices.
  • Actively identify, escalate, and remove delivery impediments, blockers, and dependencies to maintain team momentum.
  • Partner with Product Owners on backlog grooming, sprint goal definition, and delivery outcomes.
  • Lead project planning efforts, including backlog definition, sprint planning, and prioritization support.
  • Track and communicate team metrics to improve velocity, predictability, and quality of deliverables.
  • Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Ensure strong Agile hygiene and accurate reporting within project management tools.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and portfolio leadership on delivery coordination.
  • Support organizational Agile transformation initiatives and contribute to the development of standard work and best practices.
  • Promote transparency and continuous improvement through regular feedback loops and process refinement.
  • Serve as a shared Agile support resource across internal technology teams as needed.
Skills
  • Exceptional facilitation skills for leading productive Agile ceremonies and team discussions.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities to develop team Agile maturity.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Conflict resolution and problem‑solving abilities to address team dynamics and organizational challenges.
  • Servant‑leader orientation with a collaborative mindset rather than a command‑and‑control approach.
  • Ability to manage dependencies and coordinate work across multiple teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong organizational skills to track team progress, metrics, and delivery commitments.
  • Adaptability to operate effectively in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Jira Align for portfolio‑level visibility and planning.
  • Familiarity with Service Now for ticketing and workflow management.
  • Understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks and when to apply them.
Experience
  • 5–7+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Proven track record facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams toward self‑organization.
  • Experience working within large, matrixed organizations with complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Background supporting organizational or enterprise‑level Agile transformation efforts.
Qualifications
  • Scrum certification required:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent recognized certification.
Pay Rate Range

Hourly rate: $54–$72 USD.
