Job TitleGolden Ridge Surgery Center is hiring a PRN Pre‑Op/PACU/Pain Registered Nurse!
OverviewWelcome to the Orthopedic Surgery Center! We are seeking a skilled and compassionate registered nurse to join our state‑of‑the‑art facility. The selected candidate will provide Pre‑Operative, Post‑Acute Care Unit (PACU), and Pain Management nursing services.
Responsibilities- The Pre‑Operative Nurse (Pre‑op RN) organizes and directs clinical activities in accordance with nursing standards, the Joint Commission, Medicare, and all applicable federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Admits, evaluates, assesses, and teaches patients of all ages (pediatric, adult, geriatric) to fully prepare them for their procedure or surgery.
- Performs CLIA‑waived laboratory testing required prior to surgery as ordered.
- Communicates patient assessment information to the attending physician.
- The PACU RN plans, coordinates, and oversees care for patients in the PACU department, making decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicating appropriate information to other team members and providers.
- May assume additional responsibilities as designated by the manager, including committee service, quality improvement audits, and other projects.
- The position requires weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or call.
- Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
- Must possess a current unrestricted RN license in the state.
- 1+ years of experience working as a registered nurse required. ASC or Operating Room experience preferred.
- Current American Heart BLS certification.

$34 – $53/hr (based on experience)
