Job SummaryProcurement for all supplies in the surgery center with the exception of drugs. Responsibilities include ordering and receiving supplies, stocking supplies, monitoring inventory, and assisting Accounts Payable with invoice packets. We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic person; this position requires physical activity, as 90% of the role is hands‑on.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicates by phone or in person with business office staff, patient care staff, OR staff, and physicians to discuss any changes or additional supply needs.
- Orders stock and non‑stock supplies.
- Inputs requisitions and purchase orders daily.
- Follows up daily on backorders, including release dates, substitutions, returns, and discontinued products.
- Maintains adequate stock levels in assigned areas; delivers and stocks items daily, using FIFO (first‑in, first‑out) rotation.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
- Works Monday‑Friday schedule.
- No call required.
- No nights, no holidays, no overtime.
- Free parking.
Pay Range: $18.67 - 27.07/hour, depending on experience

- High School diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in hospital supply chain required.
- Computer skills and strong organization skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to deal with repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat and lift heavy items above your head and shoulders.
- Ability to work in a clean and sterile environment.
