What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Prospect into State, Local, and Education organizations while managing an efficient sales process
  • Maintain and build relationship maps for your territory, including existing and aspirational contacts
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer's business to negotiate favorable pricing and terms
  • Expand reach within assigned territory while managing existing customer expectations
  • Ensure high forecasting accuracy and consistency in sales projections
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Minimum of 3 years of closing experience in field selling within mid-market or enterprise
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding direct sales goals of $800,000+ with an average deal size of $50,000+
  • Demonstrated ability to independently prospect and build a sales pipeline
  • Experience working for an innovative tech company, preferably in SaaS or IT infrastructure
  • Familiarity with selling to state, local, and education organizations with a focus on acquiring new logos
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in sales training methodologies such as MEDDIC and Command of the Message
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to meet clients
  • Previous experience in a collaborative and inclusive workplace environment
