Position OverviewThis is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of dump trucks, water trucks and or tractor unit (with and without pups, end dumps, belly dumps, lowboys, tanker (trailers) and tarping systems). Drivers will potentially deliver any or all types of aggregates, asphalt, water, construction equipment, AC Oil, and other materials to locations both residential and commercial.
WAGE RANGE: $26 - $29 dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)- Thorough operational knowledge and skills of dump trucks, water trucks and or tractor unit (with and without pups, end dumps, belly dumps, lowboys, tanker (trailers) and tarping systems related equipment to be operated.
- Can operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Must keep time and material records.
- Must follow verbal and written instruction.
- Knowledge of different types and sizes of aggregates.
- Knowledge of different types of construction equipment.
- Ability for maneuvering and backing with trailer.
- Must be able to communicate effectively on the radio system.
- Connect and disconnect trailer.

Education/Experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates, License, Registrations- Must possess a valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A with appropriate endorsement:
Air Brakes, Tanker, Double/Triples, Manual Transmission. - Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.
- Incident free driving record preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Willingness to work independently within a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
- Ability to communicate using two-way radio.

The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to signal and handle equipment. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders.
